What Maintenance is required for the Flo deflector?

WARNING: before any kind of intervention, always disconnect the electrical supply of the pump and any other appliance placed in the water.
The Flo deflector should be checked regularly for blockages or lime build up. Hydor recommend cleaning the internal impeller as follows:
1. Press the white button at the front of the Flo. This should release the black outer cap and expose the impeller.
2. Clean the internal parts in lukewarm water with a toothbrush and rinse.
3. Reassemble the Flo by pushing the outer cap over the impeller and the white button will secure.
4. Refit the Flo to your pump or outlet and restart.
