Hydrokable

• Are there any benefits of using an external thermostat with the Hydrokable?

  Using a Hydor Hydroset thermostat is recommended because not only does it give you precise control over temperature. The addition of a Hydor Hydroset thermostat also allows the user to use a longer heater cable than necessary so that very even heat distribution is possible.

• How is the Hydrokable attached to the base of the aquarium?

  Suction cups are included for holding and positioning the Hydrokable. We recommend fitting the cable front to back up and down along the aquarium base.

• What lengths are the Hydrokable available in?

  Hydrokable is available in the following lengths: 15 w - 3.3 m 25 w - 4.3 m 50 w - 6 m 75 w - 7.5 m 100 w - 10 m

• What Maintenance is required for the Hydrokable?

  The Hydrokable in normal use should require no maintenance.

• What size Hydrokable heater do I need for my aquarium?

  5 sizes of Hydrokable are available: Hydrokable 15 w heats up to 40 litres Hydrokable 25 w heats up to 65 litres Hydrokable 50 w heats up to 125 litres Hydrokable 75 w heats up to 200 litres Hydrokable 100 w heats up to 250 litres
