How do I gain access toclean the Impeller in my Prime filter?

The Impeller is contained inside the pump housing.
1. Unplug the pump from the power socket.
2.Turn off both Taps so that the handles are horizontal.
3. Unscrew the Taps by unscrewing the larger black part of the tap, some small amount of water will escape! This is normal.
4. Unclip each of the red clips from around the pump body and then pull off the pump from the grey cannister.   Hydor recommend doing the next part over a bowl of bucket as water will be trapped within the pump.
5. Remove the priming Tap ( this allows the release of the priming chamber below and cover)
6. Turn the pump unit over and turn the circular cover on the bottom to remove. Below this is another cover (Priming Chamber) this when removed exposes the impeller. Impeller should be cleaned in accordance with Hydor Maintenance procedure. Reassembly is the reverse of the above procedure.
